It was a great game and unfortunately the Pats won but the Eagles exposed the Pats D big time and I fully expect teams to take advantage of that except it won't happen next week because the Ravens have zero offense.

Exposed the D...and big time? Like they always sukk or play this bad every game. The front did put some pressure on Feely. Yet Feely still made plays.

Yep big time. The Eagles probably have one of the worst WR's corps in the NFL next to KC and the Eagles were able to move the ball up and down the field with a backup QB.

Now every team in the NFL has the blueprint to dissect this D and that is to throw the ball inside for huge gains.

So you figuring we'll lose out and be a first round exit in the playoffs?

Let's face it -- neither you nor I are exactly sure why the in-cuts and seam stuff was generally open, nor why Feely played waaay above his head for most of the game. You (and I) don't know whether it was because of a particular weakness with our defensive scheme in general, or our players, or just that our defense was playing a particular technique for specific reasons that made those plays more open. If it's the last part -- just technique for a game-specific reason, then it isn't much of a problem, is it?

Pats got two calls that were really critical in their winning this game...

but then they win LOTS of games like that. Guess they need some help after they quit with the cheating.

Give me a break. The Colts game was among the worst-officiated games in NFL history, and it was all in the Colts favor. I could go through a laundry list of other bad calls we've gotten.

And that Moss PI call that negated a touchdown was extremely, extremely flimsy.

No I am not saying that but there is a chink in the armor and I fully expect other teams to exploit it if they can.

The Pats offense is damn near unstoppable so I don't think it is going to matter to much.

Ok.

I think we have a very good defense that basically had a very bad day. Psychologically, they may have let up when they learned that "just" the backup QB was starting or whatever. I dunno.

But I'm not fundamentally worried about the D.....yet....
