***** Official KU vs UNC 1st Rd Final Four NCAA Tourney Game Thread .*****

OK Jayhawk fans, It's that time of year and KU is where we all want them to be, in the final four. This years treat has us pitted against North Carolina and Ole Roy boy, daggummit ole Huckelberry . Sat., April 5, 7:47 p.m. (CDT) in San Antonio,Tx.

It's time for all the B12 rivals to come together and become Jayhawk fans for the good of the B12. I know for some of you diehard rivals, you would rather die 1st, so we wish no ill feelings upon you for being , indifferent . Come together and say it with me now ................ Rock Chalk Jayhawk , KU

( On a side note ) I'm starting this thread early for my Jayhawk friends due to my scheduled surgery on Thursday and not knowing if I'll be out in time or not for the game Saturday. I have been in alot of severe pain in the last 2 weeks and the doctors have bumped me up to do 1 / 2 of these kidney stones now. The heart doctor gave me 4 days to go off the blood thinners but just like last time, with the stent in my heart, anything is possible so I am just being prepared.

LET'S GO AND WIN ONE FOR OLE KU !!!!!

Sorry Kyle....beating Roy, and I'm one that still likes Roy....and knowing that Monday should be a great game....I'm just beside myself. I'll go take a valium and a hot bath or something, I guess. Okay? You happy?

Self has beaten Roy twice by 16. Now once by 18. I like Self better.

Well, like I said, I could care less about the NBA and have no idea how the formula works for that league. I only follow college and have yet to see a game go against the formula since I learned it 10 years ago.

I think Duke came close once but it was a 10 point lead with 1 minute to play. 9

You need to find someone who is a big enough degenerate gambler to take those bets with 5 or fewer minutes remaining.

Holy crap, I'm exhausted.

I got pretty nervous before the game because of all the UNC/Hansbrough talk... but at the same time I knew UNC hadn't played a team as complete as Kansas. All the talk surrounds individuals, but I'll happily watch someone different step up every single night. Aldrich was great tonight. I thought he would be good for a few minutes and a few fouls, but there were times he looked deserving of an SI cover.

This is the Florida team of the last couple of NCs... Memphis has been scary-good. Should be another great game.

I don't care about Roy. I have no more ill will toward him. But I am so happy that we get a shot at the title. Beating those arrogant Carolina pricks makes it all the better. Screw Dean Smith and all the UNC lovers!!!
