Now that I think of it, that might be an interesting proposition wager in the Chiefsplanet Sportsbook. "Will the Royals end the regular season with a total home attendance over 1,500,000?" Yes/No.

Where's the mod, it might be interesting to see how that turns out.
Sorry, I should've clarified what I meant. I meant to say place your wagers for the Indians this weekend.

Cool. As long as Glass is getting some of your anger, I can rest easy.

Here's something to make you happy: Petro keeps talking about a draft from a couple years ago. I forget the year but I think it was 2000-02, somewhere in there. Anyway, after the first 3 rounds the Royals selected nothing but college seniors. Why? They have no leverage and will be forced to sign at very low rates, talking just a few thousand dollars, not even tens of thousands. That's how Glass has buried this franchise.

"This organization is like a flower you buy when you want to go to the prom. You've got a date and she's got a flower for you, so you're pretty excited. You've put your flower in the backyard for safety, but when you go to get the flower it's buried under 50 feet of shit. Tough way to go to the prom." /Herm/

Well then a 35 mil. payroll next year it is. Don't blame Glass. It's the fans' fault.

Get over it Royals fans..

We are only in year 23 of a 30 year rebuilding plan. We still have 7 more years to go.

Love David Glass...

Doesn't stop-gap describe well over half the roster?

Can we at least scale it linearly? If we increase attendance halfway to the goal from our historical average, can we expect to see half the promised payroll increase?

That is why I said the people passed over specifaclly because of money in the last 3 years. THe 3 year even when baird was going out it looked like we were getting guys that we normally couldn't get in the draft because I thought shit was going to be different. The last 3 years I have been drinking the coolaid that shit is different. Oh didn't the scouts sort of miss on buck and teahen, or i guess that was the best deal were were going to get. Either Way we just miss on everyone. It's going to look like we missed on guillen because no one around him is doing anything.

Negative. But season ticket holders will receive a signed thank-you card from Glass and Bud Selig for assuring that the team will never pay above slot value for a draft pick, regardless of potential.

stop gap is going to be anyone not named meche, bannister soria, gordon butler.

I thought hilman was going to get thrown out on that one play and I thought to myself that is odd a manager ususally gets thrown out when the crowd is bored, and the team is playing like shit. I am surprised he hasn't got thrown out yet or some one hasn't. Guillen maybe an asshole but someone needs to be a kirk gibson type of ass hole and clean someone or throw at someone every once in awhile. That isn't the main problem with this team though of course. I just hate how we never throw at anyone never get into it with any umpires never do shit. Now whats going to happen is these ****s like gordon and butler are going to get used to losing and say **** it we got paid we are in the majors and I am going to see butler with gold chains in some kind of robe having hot bitches feed him Chocolate covered peanut balls and stop being motivated. Soria is going to cut his arms arms off because it's the only way of saving his soul from the royals. All the while hillman looks off in the distance like robert deniro in Awakenings

My bad. Here's last year, then. Porcello. Regarded by all "experts" as the second-best guy. Wanted lots of cash. Two years ago, very likely Andrew Miller, by most accounts the top prospect in the draft.

I know there were knocks against both of these guys, but the fact remains they both wanted lots of cash and the Royals didn't take them. If it looks like a duck...
