I like Herm and I'm not afraid to say it

yes that's right! I like the youth movement and think Herm has drafted well. Hard to see it yet but I think he has. My knocks on Herm is this, he could have done better with the O-line and finding a second WR to line up with Bowe. This season will probably be painful but I think he's on track to build a winner.

I would give him two more years.

He's a fugging funny interview and energetic as hell ta boot.

I know this thread is worthless.

IMO, Edwards is going to put together a monster defense before he leaves KC, and he'll win a playoff game. In other words, he'll assemble the talent for the next guy.
i agree, i think vermiels selfish mindset of a win now philosophy set us back which is part of the reason why we are where we are now. I might add that win now philosophy got us 1 playoff berth.

That's true. But I put more blame on Carl for allowing this to happen. His biggest flaw seems to be that he gives his head coach too much control. Carl needed to keep Grandpa in check, such as forcing the firing of Greg R.

When I see him on the sidelines
My heart just skips a beat
You can keep your rules and guidelines
There's no need to be discreet

'Cause I got ...

Herm love
I got Herm love
I confirm love
Oh baby, I got Herm love

When he's speaking to the press
I feel all warm inside
And it's time I must confess
Oh, yes, I gots to confide

It must be ...

Herm love
I got Herm love
I confirm love
Oh baby, I got Herm love

Some say he don't make sense
They say he's just a tool
Other teams may kill our offense
Yeah, they beat us like a mule

But, I got ..

Herm love
I got Herm love
I confirm love
Oh baby, I got Herm love

We may never win a game
And a playoff's just a dream
But, I'm going to proclaim
I got Kleenex and some cream

And I got ..

I got Herm love
I confirm love
Oh baby, I got Herm love

I think I just puked alittle...

Dude is clueless as a gameday coach...

The Indy game last year, burning two timeouts in the Raiders game on the same play.

Problem is the guy never learns from his mistakes, they keep showing up on gamedays over and over and over again!

I didn't like herman when he was screwing up the Jets.

He doesn't have the tools to make any team a winner. His forte is defense and he should be relegated to that duty with some other team.

Herm's got the right idea in building a team with youth, speed, through a hard nose defense and ball control offense. Thats normally what does the trick in winning the big one, if he wasnt so damn conservate in certain game day mistakes he could be a really good coach.

He's alright I guess.

The things I dont like about him is the way he tells you the team is playing well when they are flat lousy. Like you're an idiot.

He also claims to always tell the truth. But when it comes to seriousness of an injury, he always lies. LJ was week to week last season when he knew damn well he wasn't coming back. He claimed he didn't even know what was wrong with his foot for several weeks. When finally confronted about why he continued to lie about the injury for weeks to the fans and the media, he claimed "it was the best thing for the organization".

That pissed me off and lost major credibility.

Aside from that, I think he is probably a good personel man, but probably not head coach material.
