Chiefs Chiefs getting 5 1/2 against Saints - Will they cover? - Page 3

I like this game for KC. Bush is out, LJ is back, Dorsey and Bowe are playing against their home town team with lots of family coming up, KC's o-line is doing ok. What I worry about is Brees, he's been playing well. Besides Carr who is going to Cover NO's receivers?

What do you guys think? I'm in Vegas right now.

If it were me, I wouldn't take it. There's two scenarios, the one I described(toss up between a FG loss or a TD loss), or a repeat of the Atlanta game.

The game is in KC. I'm just saying Baton Rouge and New Orleans are the same fanbase and Bowe and Dorsey should be primed for good games.

I wouldn't take it heads up either. What I'm thinking about doing is taking KC and the points, and Indy and lay the 7.5 at home against the Texans. The parlay pays 2.6 to 1 and makes it a better return for the risk.

You should be just fine. The Chiefs will cover that number up until there's about 2.5 seconds left in the game when they'll somehow give up a safety and then let the Saints run back a TD before the end of regulation to lose by 8 points. We're getting used to fresh and exciting ways for the Chiefs to lose.

Betting on Indy this year could be risky.

Yeah but they get Wayne, Gonzalez and probably Sanders back this weekendm at home in a division game they need to win to stay in contention.

I'd take the money line on the Chiefs...the Saints are an awful road team and probably, actually IMO easily the worst team we've played in the last four weeks (New York, Tampa, @ San Diego)...

Too many unknowns for the Chiefs this week to lay any money down on the game either way. They could be the same, improved, or worse. The problem is no one knows, the horrid injuries on D, the return of LJ, and playing at home after some nice outings.
