Look, I've said before that I've given up on Croyle. That does not mean, however, that I won't interject some reality-based perspective into the conversation when people go off on the guy.

Essentially, his NFL career ended the day Herm Edwards drafted him. Herm broke him almost the same way he put an abrupt end to LJ's career productivity.

As for the initial comment, you know as well as I do that he's taking scrub snaps ... so I guess people are supposed to expect excellent pass protection and crisp, perfect routes and hands from your receivers.

I respect your opinion Mr. Fax, and whether or not Herman ****ing Edwards broke him, he has never done anything to give me any confidence he can be the guy.

He has the talent.
But does he have the mental makeup, or can it be fixed?

We may get a chance to find out.

Who knows, maybe Charlie Weis can fix him.

Then all we gotta worry about is his durability.

That's the weight he has been listed at since he signed as a rookie FA. After the offseason etc, he's at least 235 by now IMO.

I agree with Mays being the only Thumper at ILB. NE did release Tyrone McKennzie today though and i would like to see us claim him and toss Mays to the curb.
