This is true. One also has to wonder if they're not playing because they are aware that they aren't going bowling. Hard to play for anything, other than pride, of course, if you know you can't go anywhere, even if you finish above the required 6 win mark.

I didn't see any games today. I was at the Alabama National Fair experiencing lots of strange things. From the box score it looks like S. Carolina just soundly beat Alabama on every phase of the game.

Looks like my feelings about the Michigan State game were right (glad I slept through that one). I hope that doesn't carry over to the Chiefs game today, because I'm having a similar vibe.
