I feel like I am under a rain cloud right now. A few weeks ago I had a grandmother pass away. I was fine with it, she was 101 and it wasn't unexpected. Then last week I was told that after 18 years my position at work was being eliminated. Again not unexpected as the project that I headed was being replaced. What hit me in the gut is that they did not move me on to another project but was told that I had five weeks to find another job. Then on the next Monday my father called and told me that his Esophageal cancer, which we thought was caught and removed in time had come back and he will have to have his esophagus removed. On the same day I received word that my other grandmother passed. So really, for me, things are sucking right now. But I am trying to keep everything on the positive side of thinking. At least all this crap is happening at the same time, which I hope means better things to come.

God never gives us more than we can handle. There have been some times when I wondered just how strong He thought I must be. Weird thing is, I survived, and I'm stronger for it. Everything happens for a reason, and there is always something that can be taken from a situation and turned into a positive. Keep hoping for better, and let us know if you need anything as far as prayers/good thoughts.
