There have been some huge fails in sports with decision making. But one thing that I notice is that nobody ever talks about how the Chargers let Brees walk into free agency. He's gonna go down as top 5 of all time IMO. I think he's winning another Superbowl this year, he's just that good and he's in the zone.

You have the Herschel Walker debacle, Babe Ruth going to the yankees, Falcons trading Favre, Hornets trading Kobe and the Chargers letting Brees go.

but nobody ever talks about Brees. Why?

Meh, this isn't the pitt team of prior years. Ben is clearly hurt and that offense only goes as far as he goes. Plus their D is missing a few key players today. While I'm shocked Tebow is having success passing, this Pitt team was going to lose no matter who they played. It's a pisser, because I think KC could have done the same thing Denver is doing today.

I think Rivers is fully capable of winning a Super Bowl as long as he has the right pieces around him.

I truly do not believe that the Chargers would have won a Super Bowl even with Brees.

I love both QBs, I'd take either.
