Wouldn't this play go against your take on Poe? And this is exactly what we didn't have last year. A pocket that is collapsed and no where for the QB to step up into the pocket. Sack for the outside pass rush.

The whole line fell apart on that play-but yes he looked pretty good. The star has a pic of Poe getting manhandled by an undrafted rookie. They seemed to think the same thing.

He was using his upper body-slapping and wrestleing around instead of Driving. BUT they did double him on Many plays-Trent made several comments that it was freeing up space for the linebackers to work.

I am hopeing for the best out of him-the Rest of the D looked amazing.

Rewatching the game to verify, but I'm fairly certain that Poe was double-teamed the majority of snaps. He got good push when it was a one on one. He's not doing it every play, and that is what should come with time - consistency in technique.

However, what I took away was that he looked strong as hell, and as long as he is taking up a double team, he is going to open up the middle for DJ or Berry to get into the backfield. I'm cautiously optimistic.

How was the officiating in your game? Because in our game it was hilarious.

From the holding call on our punt returner (while he was returning a punt hahahaha!), to the missed pass interference and hands to the face penalty, while ripping the receiver's head around on what could’ve been a touchdown for Eli, to stopping the game for leaving their flag on the field (hahaha), to the failure to stop the clock after a Giants fumble recovery, when technically the game was over.

Honestly, the NFL officials sitting at home last night, just gained some leverage.

I didn't get to watch the whole game, but in the part(s) that I watched, I wasn't offended by any means... I know they called holding, so that was a plus... So I'll agree, they don't have the same history as those sitting at home, but they also seem to not have brought along the hands-off-the-flag approach that certain players enjoy because of their celebrity. We'll see, but like I said, from what I saw, the only thing i noticed was that they called some things more fairly than others. It was "good enough" that I had all but forgotten that they were replacements...

Appreciate your feedback, GloryDayz

Glad to hear the Chiefs had a outstanding preseason game.
