What the hell is this song everybody sings at birthday parties now?
For those that are musically literate, it goes C C D C E... D... where the dots are long notes. I don't know how else to ****ing describe it. I don't know what it's called. I don't know what it's from. I don't know why the **** people think it's good. And I don't know how to search for it to show you.

I noticed it at my Uncle Jerry's maybe two or three years ago? I just assumed it was something stupid that old people did, but now I've seen it in all manners of birthday celebrations. And as of this year I've seen it at kid's parties, too.

It's dumb, it's annoying, and it has to stop. If the goal is to get the attendees into it so they make some noise, there are better ways to do that than a dumbass song. If I were a visiting friend at that person's house and their family started doing that, I'd laugh at them, call them dumbasses, and take my presents back to make them look like assholes.
