49ers on their way to a 16-0 season.

They just signed Asomugha to a one year deal for peanuts. Good lord.

Look at this ridiculous roster.

QB: Colin Kaepernick
RB: Frank Gore, Kendall Hunter, LaMichael James
FB: Bruce Miller

WR: Anquan Boldin, Michael Crabtree, Mario Manningham, A.J. Jenkins, Kyle Williams
TE: Vernon Davis

LT: Joe Staley
LG: Mike Iupati, Joe Looney
C: Jonathan Goodwin, Daniel Kilgore
RG: Alex Boone
RT: Anthony Davis

LDE: Ray McDonald, Demarcus Dobbs
NT: Glenn Dorsey, Ian Williams
RDE: Justin Smith

OLB: Aldon Smith
ILB: NaVorro Bowman, Dan Skuta
ILB: Patrick Willis
OLB: Ahmad Brooks

CB: Nnamdi Asomugha, Carlos Rogers, Terrell Brown, Perrish Cox
S: Craig Dahl, Donte Whitner, C.J. Spillman, Trenton Robinson

K: Phil Dawson
P: Andy Lee
LS: Brian Jennings

This is before their 10 draft picks in April.

Does this look like a 16-0 team?

Here's their opponents:

Home: Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams

Road: New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars (London), Tennessee Titans, Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams

Other than The Seahawks twice, that is.... friendly.

yes, he does. I was going to post this lol. Hes prolly our best corner.

And to Brock. When you take a STRAIGHT MAN TO MAN CORNER, and make him do nothing but play Zone, hes going to look like shit. What do the niners play? Oh, right, MAN TO MAN. WHile he will never be the Nnamndi of his raider days, lol, hes only going to have to cover his man for a max of 3 seconds before someone is in that backfield.......

They landed probably one of the best Defensemen on the market last season due to wanting to play there(Garrison). The Sedins, Kesler, Luongo, etc. all have signed extensions there. It's not like players are looking to escape Vancouver.

Nor do I get how you can be an under dog when you win the President's Cup 2 years in a row.

I wouldn't exactly call the Falcons, Texans, Colts and Packers friendly.

Plus, they have Dorsey @ NT.

Anytime you try and and predict an undefeated season it doesn't come anywhere close.

I very seriously doubt that Dorsey is our Starting NOSE. If anything, I believe they are going to draft Jessie Williams, or John Jenkins, or if star falls into the teens, they will jump up and grab him. Dorsey is going to end up in the role that RJF played last year. That super utility guy.

I don't think people are afraid to throw at Asomugha anymore. He will be tested.

There is a reason we keep seeing him on other teams.

Nor should they be. Until he proves he is a top tier corner, I would throw at him too......

Its literally boom or bust for him. If he busts, the 49ers cut him and lose absolutely nothing.....

Well, he did suck, with andy reid in philly. Philly was always a wide 9 zone blitz scheme. Nnamndi is a straight man to man corner.

It could happen. Their schedule is a bear, and now the whole world has tape on Kaepernick. Even as a 49er fan, when asked who has more bust potential, kaep or Wilson, its definitely Kaep.
