Think back to day 1 of the Herm regime. I irrationally held the faintest glimmer of hope that maybe, possibly there was a year left before the window slammed on out very vulnerable hopes of a SB. Then Willie the First retired. I knew we were cooked.

Truthfully, I'd rather have the regime tell me like it is. No soothing smoke up the ass.

I never expected a playoff appearance while Marv Levy was coach, because he told me we sucked and that it would be a long process. I was okay with that.

I'd rather be told that we suck than be subjected to the insulting BS out of 1 Arrowhead Drive. I'd be more willing to give an honest regime a chance than the Herm and Carl good ship sunshine all is well message we've been given the last two years. How about you?
