...the power went out in my house about fifteen minutes ago. At midnight. On Halloween.

I had to go into the pitch dark kitchen and find a flashlight, and I have to admit, it was freaking me out a little. I was gingerly peeking into the backyard near the breaker box to see if I saw any silhouettes with chain saws.

It turned out that the whole neighborhood lost power, but it's back now. Still, the timing was not good.
