Alex Smith is like taking a stock Honda Civic to a drag race.
sure, you're going to beat some of the other 4 bangers here and there, and even occassionally beat a Corvette when his car breaks down at the line and can't run. but you're never going to consistently win races. you'll still have the same 18second 1/4 mile car that requires 100 things to go right in order to even hope to win.
