For our main family tv, we’ve been rocking a Vizio VO47L for close to a decade.

At night it’s fine, but during the daylight hours it turns all normal shows into underwater scenes of The Hunt for Red October. Dimness. I’m sure backlights fade over time.

Help me know what’s worth paying for. We don’t upgrade often, so this should be a fun jump.

Nothing larger than 65” probably.

Around $1000

Has OLED come down that far yet?

If not, I want quantum dots. I want dimming zones. We’re an Apple family for smart speakers.

Has another brand out-Viziod Vizio for value? Not stuck on that brand.
