Full Metal Jacket, there has never been a better war movie made and never will be.

I've always thought of FMJ as a great basic training movie, and a pedestrian war movie.
Of course, I put The Train near the top, even though it's a movie about guerilla civilians saving a trainload of art during WWII, not so much a 'war' movie.
