Waiting to be excited!

I hope all the hoopla is for real, just like I hope every year. I can't get too excited until the real games begin though because I have heard DV say it was the "best team he's ever had" about 4x now. Talent and speed are great but it will be interesting to see how all the new guys mesh. The same basic defensive line scares me and I hope we don't have to blitz all the time like last year. I know a new safety and corner will help that, but still, it seems like whatever can go wrong does go wrong when talking about the Chiefs.

It seems to me like we are going to have to let some great prospects go this year no matter what. We can't keep all the linebackers they keep talking about along with all the talented receivers as well as the running back Gado and so on. I'm still a bit pessimistic (even though excited at the same time) because our coaches and administration have been dead wrong before (see last year's articles on how the talent we had justified picking up noone). -- and yes we got Dalton, but still ????

There is no doubt that the proven additions we got this year is an upgrade to say the least. I hate this dead month!!
