*sigh* Same confused Royals...

"I just don't think we're aggressive enough. How many third strikes did we take today -- seven or eight? That's not good. And I realize some of them are kids that we bring up. I'm not talking about them."

Shealy, Gload and Sanders, however, are players the Royals will be counting on when the season starts.

"I think we can be better," Bell said. "I just think we need to get better. I think we need to be more aggressive early in the count. I just think we are capable of doing a lot more offensively than we have up to this point. I understand that you kind of go through ups and downs in Spring Training, whether it is pitching or offense."
Maybe I'm misunderstanding this, but isn't this the same franchise that for the past couple of years decided to send instructions to their coaches in the minors to preach patience at the plate and getting into deeper counts?

I'm not saying don't be aggressive, worked great for the Tigers. But make up your mind.

No wonder Bell still thinks Berroa is a good player...
