It's pretty good, probably a strong chance to finish top-3. |

I dont know about that, you really reached on a lot of picks there. You could find yourself struggling by Week 8. |

Excuse me for a moment. *Goes into the next room, busts out laughing, regains composure, comes back* I'm afraid you didnt do very well at all. Next year, ask for help first. |

Grade my draft
All right, draft is over and its that time of year again. Time to present my team and receive either admiration or ridicule and scorn from the planet.
Quick snapshot of the league rules: Simple non-keeper league, 10 people. 1QB, 2RB, 2/3WR, 1/2 TE (WR + TE = 4), 1K, 1 DEF, 7 bench, 16 players total. Scoring: TD = 5 pts passing, 6 pts all else 2-pt conversion = 2 pts Yards/point = 25 passing, 10 rushing/receiving no points for receptions Int/Fumble = -2 pts Bonus = 3 pts 300 yd passing, 100 yard rushing, 100 yard receiving Kicking = 3 to 5 pts on FG depending on distance, 1 pt extra point, no penalty for missing Defense = Special teams or Defense TD's, 1pt sack, 2 pts fumble recover or int, 1 to 3 points for blocking kicks depending on what kind, 2 pt safety, 10 to 0 points on total yards depending on how much, 14 to -2 pts on points allowed depending on how much. Draft Strategy: 5th pick snake draft, I hit running backs early and often, 1st 4 was RB, RB, WR, RB. Aside from picking a TE somewhere in the middle round, I basically had 5 RB and 6WR before anything else. Last 4 picks were QB, QB, DEF, K. Starters QB1 - Jake Delhomme - CAR RB1 - Frank Gore - SF RB2 - Willie Parker - PIT WR1 - Steve Smith - CAR WR2 - Santana Moss - WAS WR3 - Vincent Jackson - SD TE - Vernon Davis - SF DEF - Pittsburgh Steelers K - Jay Feely - MIA (Dead last "who cares" pick, I just got the hunch that Miami will be settling for a lot of FG's this year) Bench QB2 - Matt Schaub - HOU RB3 - Cedric Benson - CHI RB4 - Ronnie Brown - MIA RB5 - Marshawn Lynch - BUF WR4 - Jerricho Cotchery - NYJ WR5 - Terry Glenn - DAL WR6 - Dwayne Bowe - Token Chiefs player I won the league last year basically by being lucky enough to grab LT with the #3 pick (but I was scoring so many points I may have won anyway with just a solid RB instead) This year LT didnt go to a strong drafter, so it could be wide open. Half the league was taking kickers and defense in the middle rounds, the other half of the league will be serious competition. Peyton went #3, LJ went #10. Yes, I passed on LJ, I really agonised over that one. I think the Chiefs are going to be throwing a lot to catch up after halftime this year. The 49'ers arent exactly a great team either, but Gore isnt that far behind LJ on skill, and the NFC West's collective run defense is horrible. |
