That doesn't make me a fairweather fan. I mean we haven't had a winning record since 2006 (if 9-7 counts) and every offseason I still feel like we can win the Super Bowl.

It most certainly makes you a fairweather fan.

You watch every game, regardless of record, because you can't turn away. Record really doesn't matter - it's the love of the franchise. Sure, we ALL wish that the Chiefs could have won three or four Super Bowls this decade (or in the past four decades) but that doesn't keep me from NOT watching.

The bottom line is that it's all about FOOTBALL. If you don't understand that, there's nothing anyone can say to convince you.
