McCoy Expected to Remain as OC of Denver
Guess he won't be Haley's "puppet":
According to the Denver Post, offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is expected to remain with the Broncos following John Fox's hiring as head coach. The two men share the same agent. McCoy was Fox's QBs coach from 2003-2007 and passing-game coordinator in 2008 before Josh McDaniels plucked him away from Carolina. It's great news for Tim Tebow for reasons of stability and track record. Jake Delhomme never had a passer rating under 80 with McCoy. The Chiefs were reported to be interested in McCoy as Charlie Weis' replacement. |
