Why are we still using the 3-4?

IMO we have decent personnel to run a 4-3 or any even front scheme.

DE: gilberry/Hali/Bailey
DT: dorsey/gregg/powe
MLB: dj/belcher/williams
OLB: houston/miller/sheffield

DJ can be played at OLB in a even scheme, since he is one of the better coverage LB's I have seen to date. Problem is our LB's dont have much size for a 3-4 scheme, and out of our 3 DL, none require a double team. I think gilberry/hali on the ends would let us rush the passer with 4, and use our more mobile LB's in coverage. Dorsey back to a 3 tech DT, with gregg/powe helps vs interior runs too. Most teams that dominate odd fronts have beastly DL, and linebackers that look like they lift weights. Our LB's look like they go to planet fitness.

Just a thought.

Will try in Madden 12 tonight, to verify lol.
