Dialect Quiz - How Y’all, Youse and You Guys Talk
The data for the quiz and maps shown here come from over 350,000 survey responses collected from August to October 2013 by Josh Katz, a graphics editor for the New York Times who developed this quiz. The colors on the large heat map correspond to the probability that a randomly selected person in that location would respond to a randomly selected survey question the same way that you did. The three smaller maps show which answer most contributed to those cities being named the most (or least) similar to you.

How come most ppl in Florida don't have the straight up hillbilly accent and then around Atlanta it seems to go away as well?

From an image standpoint, I think that palm trees offset hillbillies to a great extent. If there were more palm trees in the ozarks, they would be "beautiful inland mountains" instead of "hillbillies and hollers". (I'm from the ozarks, so I'm allowed to say that.)

I have no relatives in either location.

Well I mean they're on Sunday or Monday Night 13 weeks out of the year...

I did it a second time and got Overland Park, KC and Springfield, MO. Only a minor difference in choices/
