#1 - Cast Away. I went into this thinking I'd go with Almost Famous, but the Cast Away scene is really powerful, and you really worry about both Wilson and the other guy. Great scene.

#2 - Almost Famous. It's a really good scene with good acting, and I identify with the kid. But it didn't have the drama of a lost volleyball.

#3 - Cool Hand Luke. These types of poker scenes have been done a thousand times, several hundred of which have featured Trapper John.

Neither Elliott Gould nor Pernell Roberts is in that scene.

Prior to the role of Trapper John, Rogers appeared on television in various roles in both dramas and sitcoms such as The Invaders, The F.B.I., Gunsmoke, Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., The Fugitive, and had a small supporting role in the 1967 movie Cool Hand Luke.
