He's a playmaker no matter where USC lines him up. More natural FS though, doesn't consistently attack the LOS like you would think a box SS would do.

Well, he's disciplined in coverage and will play his part in the scheme. I'm not too sure if he has enough speed/ range to play single high safety, definitely not enough experience to start there day 1; haven't seen him enough in that role to comfortably say that he would be great there. His play recognition is pretty good and he's always around the ball because of it, diagnoses plays almost from the snap. Because USC lined him up at linebacker, he's not polished in his movements and needs to clean up his back pedal technique and man coverage technique. If you were to take him and put him in Berry's role, he would be pretty good immediately; however, like Berry, he'll look a bit out of place as the center fielder early on due to a lack of experience there. If he gets the technical side down, I think that he could fullfil the role pretty well given his natural instincts and play discipline though.
