Draft insider Tony Pauline reports that Mississippi State QB Tyler Russell "put on a passing clinic" in a private workout for the Patriots, Packers and Chiefs on Thursday.

"His deep passes were on the money and Russell was also accurate with short and intermediate throws," Pauline wrote. Because Russell's senior season was ruined by a concussion and a torn labrum, he may not be drafted. However, the 6-foot-4, 221-pounder has intriguing tools and is a decent developmental option due to his size and arm strength.
