This is who you're arguing with. PGM is stuck in neutral with a pathetic past and a coach who is battling the likes of Eastern Illinois for recruits on the football field.

40 years later and they've accomplished less than Kansas. Oh, an for KU this is our secondary sport.

Why would SEC Media members pick anyone to win the Big 12 (sic).

I don't know if anybody heard KK on Tuesday talking about how the Big 12 should go hard after Notre Dame and pay them more TV revenue (shares) than anyone else in the conference (because they would be the most valuable member) and KU, KSU, and ISU take less out of bigger pie. Then go after Colorado State and give them the same as the those 3 schools.

I can't see Texas or OU going for that but the bottom teams would most likely.

Big X members demoting themselves to junior members

to get a school that could join a better conference any day of the week

KK is a moron. Why would Notre Dame want to leave the ACC for all its other sports (with schools mainly in Catholic heavy areas) for the Big 12? I'm sure Notre Dame wants to spend all of its time in Kansas, Iowa, and Oklahoma for its conference schedules. Big time Catholic areas those are.

MU picked up the phone and was rejected from the Big 10. MU then picked up the phone begging to be let in the SEC.

The SEC never called MU. I just found this out the other day.

How pathetic, lol

Some schools had options. Some schools did not. I'm sure glad we were among the former.

Yup, ku actually did beg to get in and were basically laughed at by conferences around America. Some schools were wanted badly and offers were extended.

At that time, some toucfans claimed they were chained to K-State and that's why they had no options - because no major conference wanted both of them.
