Just like Elway, Luck creates a lot of his own comeback drama.


Nobody ever asks why Elway had so many 4th quarter comebacks.....Well, he kind of put them in the hole to begin with!

Maybe... Reeves was also fairly conservative until the situation needed something drastic. There's a whole lot of reasons why Elway and Reeves clashed.

Reeves wanted to slow things down, control the clock and win it with a barefoot kicker if need be... but, when things were close to hitting the fan, Elway could turn things around.

100% agree.


Elway had to force a lot of throws, because just like Luck, the rest of his team was mediocre.
