Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Still many holes in this roster. Wilson as your #2 receiver is a joke. The turnstile at OL speaks to bad coaching at the position and poor talent evaluation. Our veteran Qb cannot take sacks in FG Range, and when your primary read is shut down he needs to go elsewhere - poor play design and a bad call by Reid. Someone needs to tell Andy a regulation field includes end zones for a total of 120 yards - not 100.

One good play wins this game for either team.

I don't see anything wrong with the comment. And I'm not a race baiter. Alex Smith gets a lot of credit for smarts because he looks the part. Even though he isn't even close to being a smart QB on the field.

Now that you're here, perhaps you can channel some good Haley mojo for the cause?...

Each week I watch Alex Smith I don't know if I'm more surprised the 49ers took him at #1 overall, or that the Chiefs gave up 2 #2 picks for him.

9 points without a punt. YES!
