I didn't like it when Ronda went all bitch mode and wouldn't tap gloves before the start of the fight. She did finish with some class, though, hugging Holm and congratulating her, but I'd have preferred that Ronda was classy from the get-go. She pretty much deserved to get whipped, and she did. Knocked cold. She made the classic error of trying to fight her opponent by her opponent's game and not making her fight her own, plus she may have been overconfident.

And out of shape. She was sucking wind like she just got done running a marathon after the first round.

She looked like a heavyweight who neglects cardio because they are used to 1 round fights.

I noticed that, and in the prelims, her arms looked small, then on the fight night, they were pumped up but she looked a bit softer.

She has been distracted making movies, making appearances, doing swimsuit shoots and doing endorsement deals doesn't keep you focused or in fighting shape. Her trainer and game plan is as much to blame for the outcome. Going stand up was foolish. Everyone knows Holm is an accomplished boxer and kickboxer. Rousey should have gone to the mat. I guess dropping that Brazilian gave her or her trainer some false confidence. Either way trading leather with a taller fighter with a reach advantage who happens to be a superior striker was not a good idea clearly. I did not see anything but the end. Listening to commentators, I have heard she made no serious attempt and seemed content to trade leather. I will check out the whole fight. I do think the winner seems like a good person and much more humble~

I think about halfway through the first round she was trying to clinch, but she was banged up and tiring by then. She should have been going for a takedown right away.
