How old are you? Don't you remember the Vermeil years, in which the Chiefs kept wasting draft pick after draft pick on the defensive line?

Eric Downing, Ryan Sims, Eddie Freeman, Junior Siavii, etc. and so on. The Chiefs didn't draft the best players, they drafted for need it got them nothing.

Same happened in 2008 with Glenn Dorsey and 2009 with Tyson Jackson. Neither of those players were the best player available.

It's a stupid "strategy" that should be avoided at all costs.
