Especially since Houston has had a lot less time to heal, and this was Charles' second knee injury....very optimistic to expect both to be 100% this year.

It's not bullshit. Lower body injuries affect a RB and pass rusher significantly more than an ILB and 3-4 DE.

In DeVito's case, he wasn't the same player, either, and is no longer on the team.

Expecting our two best players to return at top form is something of a pipe dream.

How so when the Broncos just got Harris and Milller back two years ago from ACL surgeries with the same time frame as Houston?

Charles tore his ACL all the way back in week 4 and was already getting work on the field in OTA's.

Guys are consistently coming back from ACL injuries with no issues these days.
