Games like this are always nerve racking. Cubs should have 3-4 runs right now but a bad call in the 1st kills a rally and then they cant do little things like advance runners with a leadoff double and a hit by pitch.

Bad calls are an inevitable part of the adored human element of the game - and they come at the most inopportune times. Cubs need to step up in a huge way, but they should have time to do just that before getting to Kenley.

Josh Fields tends to let his nerves light him up like dynamite in the postseason. If he's as nervous as he was last year, look for a lot of mistakes up.

This was one of the many things that plagued them against the Mets last year. I know some like to compare them to the 2015 Royals, but they're definitely not a contact hitting team. It makes them prone to extended slumps against October pitching (ala the Jays & Orioles).

Agreed. I(and Vegas and everybody)had them at a big advantage tonight due to the pitching matchup. But they Cubsed themselves early and now the advantage has shifted. The bottom of the Cubs lineup is an abyss. Lester is due to face the Dodgers bigs next inning, assuming he makes it out of this one ok
