I feel like I generally can move with style changes, but there's one thing I can't do.

When I was growing up, the worst thing that a person could from a style perspective - the WORST - was to have pants that showed the ankles. If you could see a person's socks while they were wearing pants, that person was someone that you should shun and avoid at all costs. It was the fashion equivalent of stabbing yourself in the face. It was such a terrible, terrible thing to do in my formative years that I can never ever wear short pants like that at any point in my life.

I also feel I am pretty flexible with the style of the times. I like today's young still tbh more than the one that I grew up with in the 90's with the sagging and ****ing Jinco jeans(the worst pants of all time). However, I could never go with the short pants, no socks, and dress shoes.
