Steel Men Are Coming

Business is ****ing booming, Steelers up 20-3 only 17 minutes into the game.

Ya'll wanted Pittsburgh. 219 yards of offense in the 1st quarter.

We'll be fine?

We'll find out next Sunday.

The Chiefs have beaten better teams than the Steelers this year on the road (Atlanta, for one).

Reid is 19-2 off the bye. This isn't the same team, at all, that was beat on the road in Pittsburgh back in September.

It'll be a tough game but the Chiefs will win.

I'd argue that the Steelers (right now) are a better team than ATL was when we played them, but I agree completely about this being a better team than in September.

Personally, I'd sell out to contain Bell and force Ben to beat me. If Bell has room, we're going to have to have the biggest offensive outburst of the season.

I'd like Berry to help out the ILB's and make sure Bell doesn't run for 200 yards. Let's count on the DL to do their job and the rest of the secondary to handle one on one with everyone else besides Brown.

Man, I just don't see it.

As I just said in a related thread, they beat two teams this year with a winning record (Chiefs and Giants) and just beat the 29th ranked defense, at home, vs. a backup QB.

They're a good team but they're going to be severely tested at Arrowhead. And the Chiefs have Terrance Mitchell across from Peters this time, not Phil Gaines.

Ford hit his stride, as has Jones, Berry and Sorenson. Houston might help out a bit, too.

This is very possible. Jesse James is not a threat and I'm going to speculate that Green will be out again as well(if that proves to not be the case then this may have to change). Put Peters on Brown and help him at times with Parker or Sorensen or whatever. If Eli Rogers and company beat us, then so be it

Seems like they put Ford in a reduced role when Houston was back. I hope they can find a way to get them both on the field together more often.

Atlanta has no defense. PIT's is pretty good and maybe better since the last time we played them. I think they will be a tougher matchup for us for sure.

It's going to be tough, I'm glad that I'm going to this game to see an epic divisional game and hopefully payback. I won't be surprised if we don't win, but I want us to beat Todd Haley's ass so bad for what they did to us earlier in the year, and I want us to get another shot at the Patriots.

God I hope the Chiefs use all of this pro-Steelers talk to their advantage and just feed off of it.

One would argue that there should be enough motivation for the Chiefs by simply being in this game, but goddamn I know I'm going to be sick of every media pundit essentially penciling in the Steelers into the AFC Championship Game, so I hope the Chiefs at least feed off of it to amp themselves up even more.

This is going to be a rough week.
