Besides the Bowe deal, its the Hali contract that bites. But we were in a pinch. Pisses me off seeing the Steelers sign James Harrision to a 2 year 3.5 m deal. That's what Hali needed to do for us.

No kidding. I usually don't mind a player getting as much money as they can, but in Hali's case where he was preaching how he was a Chief for life and wanted to relentlessly pursue a SB, he sure didn't do us many favors with the price tag.

Part of the problem was Julius Peppers getting 10M per year on the open market, so Hali's 7M actually looked cheap. Hindsight, though.

Do you think that's how the negotiations went? Lol

His deal voided last March for a reason. It took some time to meet at a number they could all agree on.
