Yeah, that's the one I saw, which I came to a conclusion that the run didn't cross. Plus another poster said it as well.

I believe if the third out is a force out then it doesn't matter if the runner crosses the plate first.

That wasn't technically a force out though. If the runner would have touched home before the out was recorded at first, the run would have counted.

It was a force out at first since he didn't tag up. If he tags and is thrown out at second that's not a force out and the run counts.

I understand that it is a force out, but not in the traditional sense. The run would have counted if he crossed the plate first. I'm 99.99999% certain of that.

I honestly don't know the rule there either but I think it's actually at Tegu explained it.

Yep, and the example given is exactly what happened tonight, except the runner did not cross the plate before the 3rd out was recorded.

I believe this is an approved ruling from rule 5.08(b).

APPROVED RULING: One out, Jones on third, Smith on
first, and Brown flies out to right field. Two outs. Jones
tags up and scores after the catch. Smith attempted to
return to first but the right fielder’s throw beat him to the
base. Three outs. But Jones scored before the throw to
catch Smith reached first base, hence Jones’ run counts.
It was not a force play.
