For those saying this is entirely about either the kneeling, or CHunt's response to it.

Did any of you look at the Rams' activity?

Nobody kneeled on the Rams, and one person raised a fist.

This had absolutely nothing to do with that anthem stuff.

Was Clark uncomfortable paying the guy? Sure. But that’s probably got a whole lot more to do with his treatment of coaches and other factors which we don’t get to see.

'Taming' being shorthand for whatever it takes to make him amenable to making millions to play football for the team that took a chance on him and drafted him.

Saying Peters is a powder keg and we lit the match when we didn't 'have to' assumes a lot for the narrative. The fans didn't ask for a powderkeg, and they didn't forfeit their right to respond as customers to powderkeg behavior. Further, labelling him a powderkeg is fairly dehumanizing, suggesting that he's a slave to his temper.
You said nobody is putting it 100% on Peters, then you go into all the reasons fans should have no accountability for trolling their own player.

Right, fans had no idea Peters might take it personally when they start calling him a thug, a jerk, and flood his social media with comments blaming him for disrespecting Vegas shooting victims. They had no idea he'd react when they start trolling him after he gave up a TD especially after that week. You expect these kinds of things from your worst players. You don't expect sports fans to go after their own BEST players. If you walk into a bar and poke a hot tempered guy repeatedly, don't act surprised when you get punched in the face.

Peters deserves blame and he's gotten plenty. Dorsey deserves blame and he's gotten plenty. Few here have suggested otherwise. What I see are plenty of people profusely defending fans as if they did nothing wrong. There are a subset of fans who decided to troll one of our best players during a winning streak. They chose social activism over winning. You can excuse that all you want. I as a fan ****ing hate it.

Peters’ case was more difficult than most, and not just because teams had more to sift through — a failed drug test, three separate suspensions, a sideline tantrum and finally being kicked off the team. Adding to the complexity was that Peters played for two different coaching staffs.

I know this is old but I caught quite a bit of shit in the other threads for having the Gaul to insinuate that peters might get in legal or drug trouble at some point.....

Give this guy $30M and you might as well light a rocket in his ass and send him to the moon. He gone

This is just like I said before....a guy dumps a super hot chic and people don't understand what a high maintenance asshole she is at home. He said just tired of her and it's not worth it anymore.

That's a liberal use of that number. There were only 2 who actually negotiated for Alex Smith. The point is just because only 2 teams tried to get him, doesn't mean there weren't more teams interested. I don't think it's a coincidence that Peters ended up in California and in the NFC.

I still think the CHIEFS should have included Bob Sutton as part of the deal.

That would have cost the Chiefs 3-4 draft picks.

I already pinned your obsession awhile ago. No matter the issue, you want to divert all conversation to whether or not wypipo sucked enough BLM dick.

I never booed him for his barely-thought-out and never enunciated antics. At most I rolled my eyes. And I'm not 'excusing' the crowd. But the crowd wasn't a driver in this decision, unless there comes solid evidence [not rumors or speculation] that either CHunt definitely wanted him gone over the crowd reaction, or Peters definitely wanted out. Even then, it's a failure of those two individuals to get over themselves and their egos for the sake of success and profitability.

A 2nd round pick isn't really bad compensation for a guy that wasn't going to be here long term. I'm not sure what everyone is so mad about.

The guy is on pace to be in the HoF and the team had him under control for at least 2 more years. A 2nd and 4th round pick in return is an absolute joke, not even including that the Chiefs had to actually sweeten the ****ing deal with a 6th round pick.

Would he have been a HOF for us though, or some other team? I didn't see him staying here.
