Laying the blame entirely on one side of the ball is short sided by everyone. The blame can be placed at both sides, excusing either side is wrong

14 point lead with 5 minutes left you win what 98% of the time?

Score 40 you should win 95% of the time.

Score 50 and you win 99.9999% of the time.
