I think the question would become if he's throwing those INTs because he has to keep scoring points, or is he seen as careless if the defense ever improves, throwing passes across his body into the middle of the field when they're up 28-3 in the 4th quarter.

When you have to throw 6 touchdowns and score a million points to beat the Rams, interceptions are almost a given, especially for a young QB.

My only issue with Mahomes will be corrected as he gets older. He must get the ball out sooner and know where he's going faster. It will be tough for him to run around outside the pocket for 15 years making magic happen. That style won't last and isnt a sustainable offense year after year. Mahomes is a bad ass and he will only get better.

At this point, who cares about narrative. I care about what makes mahomes a better qb. Arguably mahomes is just as mistake prone when he's managing games as he is on the attack. When you're tentative, you might second guess your reads. Hold on to the ball too long. And if he throws an INT in those moments... Who cares? History tells us the alternative was accepting a three and out. The example of slinging across his body is exactly the point... Those are the types of plays mahomes doesn't try when we're up and that to me is a reflection of coaching, not mahomes' mental makeup.

For example... Everyone claims we were right to manage that last drive because of field position and down and distance. If you're in bad field position, the new mentality of this team should be to do everything you can to worsen the chargers field position. Not to burn clock. Not with 3:49 left.I would rather take an INT for trying than take a three and out. At least, I would with the Qb we have. We've got to find the right balance between dialing mahomes back and letting mahomes be mahomes.

Basically, Let Mahomes do Mahomes stuff. He may throw the interception but maybe win the game by himself. The best option we have is to just let Mahomes do his thing.

Exactamundo. Unless the game is basically 99% probability of a win, you let Mahomes be mahomes. Don't ask mahomes to be Alex Smith.

Is it possible Reid is going to figure this out? Realistically, he hasn't yet in his career as a coach, but this is the first time he's had the NFL's best offensive weapon(s) at his disposal while having an atrocious defense. Is it possible the game against the Chargers finally convinces him to be more aggressive? It seems so blatantly obvious that you "roll" (to use a Reid-ism) with what got you there.

I keep trying to be an optimist. But after 20 or so years... It's putting a lot of faith that he can change. But I'll stay optimistic. He moved on from Alex Smith. He embraced the spread. Maybe an old dog can learn new tricks.

He says he will fix it and address the same issues at least 30-40 times... Are you doubting his ability to fix the same issues he said he would fix the last 30-40 times he has been responsible for the same issues?

I think, like Eagles fans, that we hope the last colossal collapse will be the one that's the cold water in his face that has him realize that he has to resist this formula that only he thinks will win. So far he hasn't, he's well insulated. And if there's a reason he CAN'T, he's not bothered to explain it to the fans through the press. As long as Hunt let's him keep collapsing without consequences, what incentive is there for him to think he needs to change?

Like an alcoholic that swears off alcohol for the 100th time (after a bender), with Andy it appears to only last until he walks to the next bar. Andy needs an intervention, but Hunt thinks he's fine.
