If the Chiefs did it I would gain a ton of respect for them, just like I did after they rightfully cut Kareem Hunt. I never wanted Hill on the team and you can comb through my post history to see that. I think he's an awful human being--you don't just punch and choke your pregnant girlfriend once without a persistent pattern of behavior.

He also happens to be an excellent athlete and he helps the Chiefs win.

I get that some people only care about winning regardless of who is on the team, and there are obvious limits to what you can know about the character of the players, but in the end, this is an entertainment product, and there are certain things I think are more important than winning a game.

I am of the belief that if I excuse conduct like Hill's past and alleged current behavior that for my own benefit I'm condoning it. I'm not going to do that.
