Anybody score a particulary good deal today?

No way I'm leaving the house on Black Friday. But I did do some cyber shopping today. I'm in the AV biz, and my company is gifting me a 75" 4K Panasonic display that we pulled out of a school. It's less than a year old. They didn't want it because "it was broken" and they just bought a replacement. Asked us to haul away the "broken one". It just needs a new power supply. So I should be bringing that home before the playoffs start. I needed to upgrade my home theater receiver. I have had both Yamaha and Denon, and today I snagged a Denon AVR-X3500H unit. It's a 2018 model, usually around a grand. Got it Black Friday on Amazon for $549, 18 months no interest. I've got good quality speakers at home (7.1 surround and sub) all Polk Audio stuff. Replacing a Yamaha 7.1 that's probably six or seven years old now. The new TV is going to be massive in the front of my cozy living room. Wowza!

Watched a few items, helped start on Christmas decorations, got the tree hauled in and set up, spent zero so a win for sure.

Got a little giant ladder for $89 and a drill bit set for $5. I am tempted to go back out and grab the Daredevil spade bit set that is currently $20.

Was he being nice, or did you take him for five big ones in the card game?

I thought about getting out early and heading to the Walmart at 40 highway and Blue Ridge Cutoff to get into a mall fight over a TV. Instead I sat at home having coffee and watching The Mandalorian with my son he loves that crap. After it was over I pulled out my DVD of The Outlaw Jose Wales. He shot out of the couch and made a b line for his computer and some gaming. I relaxed with with a piping hot cup and something good to watch.
