This. They lose this weekend, and the Ravens can take the 1 seed. We lose this game, and we still control the AFC-W so long as we win out thereafter, or at least stay ahead of the Raiders who are now two games back. We can afford to lose this game, so far as the playoffs are concerned.

Our magic number is two. Any combination of Chiefs wins and Raiders losses that equals two and we are in. So in reality we may not even need to win another game.

For the standings this game is much bigger for the Patriots. Even with a win we need quite a bit of help to get a bye so it’s not that big for us. But I do think it is huge for our confidence.

Yeah, they are not going to hold back. But, I also think Reid is going to open up the playbook this Sunday.

I think so too, he’s been meaning to show off. You only need the pre-season script to beat the Raiders.
