I don't think they can put him on IR without first putting him on their final 53. After 24 hours, they can then add him to IR but not without first exposing cut players to be picked up by other teams.

Whatever they have to do....i just don't foresee him being a part of this team. I understand his contract makes him unlikely to be cut, but i think the Chiefs just eat it so they can field their best team.

Didn't play last season.

Barely participated in camp due to injury.

Was buried on the depth chart before the injury.

I don't think that bodes well for him.
