That would be ideal, but he'd have to approve the trade.

If I'm LDT, I'd say, "Sure, go ahead and trade me" if it meant being a starter instead of a backup. Maybe for most teams he'd say yes unless it's the Bengals or Texans or some other mismanaged awful group of losers.

If i'm LDT i'd probably rather just get cut. The Chiefs still gotta pay you and at least you get to pick your next destination.

Plus he'd get to double-dip. He'd get what we owe him, plus the contract with the new team. Even at vet minimum that's nearly an extra million dollars.
