Has anyone ever traveled on Greyhound before?
My job wants me to travel and I was thinking of taking greyhound as I'm not a big fan of flying. How awful is it?

J Gordon Liddy talked about overcoming the fear of flying with a caller once. The idea of a boat floating on water and a plane just floats on air actually helped me. Until flying into Dallas during a severe tstorm. Seeing that gargoyle sitting on a wing during a lightning strike while landing returned me to full pre phobia panic.

I thought it was hilarious because they were both like equal distance from the door and neither was busy or had their hands full lol

It was a nice gesture. Sucks your experience wasn't so pleasant.

77 I was riding the bus up from New Orleans back to Missouri and had to wait in Memphis for about 5/6 hours. It was shithole then. The people told me not to walk around the area by the bus station after dark. I didn’t have a passport pic yet but I’d been ready with the comeback….I’m the one people are scared of….

I was there in the early 80’s. I missed the public orgry’s on the beach in Eilat. people were still ****ing everyone in that pre-aids era. Worse that could happen is you had to go get some penicillin. Different era.

Late 90’s I got recruited by Electronic Sensors out of Wichita, KS. The owner was visiting his parents in Kansas City. He asked if he could interview me at the Kansas City Bus Station. All he talked about was how good the fried chicken smelled. People were asking for scratch and if they could hold a five so they could buy some chicken. I took that job, to this day I ask myself why. I had a decent job.
Moved to Wichita, a year later Cessna rescued me from that company. Cessna was ok til 9/11. Every corporation cancelled all their orders for Citations.
