I listen to people endlessly whine about how lucky we are, how it isn't fair, how we are the ultimate beneficiaries of ref bias, and I can't help but wonder, DID YOU ****ERS ALL LIVE UNDER A ROCK PRIOR TO 2020? Jesus. Being a Chiefs fan was like living under a ladder on the remnants of a dozen broken mirrors with a hundred black cats surrounded by angry voodoo priestesses poking little red dolls. I try to explain this to people and they look at me like I'm crazy. I swear the average fan has the memory capacity of a ****ing goldfish. Seemingly forever, we either sucked or found the most painful ways imaginable to lose important games to inferior teams. We were owned in the playoffs by the goddamn Colts for years. Who did you have to be in a previous life to deserve that? Stalin?

And while I understand the pain Bills fans feel, sorry, but I still remember my own ****ing pain, which went on and on and on for decades. So **** 'em. And all the rest of the haters. We deserve this success. And whatever future success comes our way.

Don't like my Super Bowl jacket? Well, bite me.
Agreed. Nobody cared when it was the Chiefs getting actually screwed by the refs. Not to mention being as snakebitten as a team can get in the playoffs.

We lost to Brady in OT without getting the ball. Nobody cared. The Chiefs suggested a rule change and everyone told them to get fisted and "learn to play defense". 3 years later it happens to the Bills and everyone rushes to claim how unfair the rules are and votes to change them immediately that offseason.

So yeah they can all go fist themselves.

Also don’t forget the Eric Fisher hold in 2016 that erased a 2 point conversion to tie the game, and the Mariota “forward progress” fumble in 2017

Annnnnnnd the concussion/Andrew Luck game.

Even if punk asses are too young to remember before the decade of darkness the Alex years should still be available to them.

The kicker that shall not be named game as we all sat there screaming at marty to put rich Gannon in the game...then watching Gannon lead the Raiders to the superbowl at the end of his career. Montana's concussion to the bills in the afc championship game. (Although that season was still awesome with the blocked punt to beat Pittsburgh and the dismantling of the Houston buddy Ryan defense.)

That one sucked, but Pitt would have gotten the ball back with about 2:45 left only needing a FG to win it. I definitely wanted the opportunity to stop them, but our D had been doing the bend and don’t break thing the whole day and I don’t know if we would have kept them from at least getting a FG try at the end.

The forward progress penalty sucked and we should have gotten a defensive score there which would have put us 21-0. If Tenn gets 3 before half, the score would have still ended up being 21-3 at half.

Those teams were always so hard to keep healthy into the playoffs and their runs were dependent on our defenses staying 100% off the IR.

DJ's absence in that game made such a huge impact in our inability to stop Bell. Just like Houston's absence did against Brady in the year previous, and Berry's absence did the following year.

Chris Jones being absent in the 2019 divisional match would have previously spelled a similar doom for KC. Or half the offense getting injured in the 2022 AFCCG (like the 2013 playoffs).

I never go back and watch the playoff games that we lost, but I don’t remember us forcing the Steelers to punt. I think we got a pick in the end zone and of course the 6 FG’s. I forgot that game was also the year that DJ went out with the Achilles right at the end of the season.
