But he can say he signed a contract with the largest signing bonus for an offensive lineman. That is what made him happy. He can say he got something that was the most moneywise, even if it was less than what the Chiefs offered. It was simply an ego salve for him. I hope he thinks his dad would be proud. He may not be the highest paid LT in the league but he got something he can boast about.
