That feels like PS to me. If they have Carvin on the 53, it would be at the expense of Kinnard.

I think Allegretti is your primary backup C/IOL with Kinnard as your G2 in the event of multiple injuries. Meanwhile you can stash Carvin on the PS and call him up to the active if needed.

I think the Chiefs carry 6 WRs this year and allocate the FB slot to the 4th TE.

I think they carry 9 OL:

Taylor, Niang, Morris, Prince, Thuney, Smith, Creed, Allegretti and Kinnard.

I think Carvin is better than Allegretti, but I could see them keeping the experienced guy. Now, if a trade was offered...
